PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for managing a sign and a method for selecting economic data, for precisely predicting the future trend of a specific economic index on the basis of the past trend of a plurality of economic indexes.;SOLUTION: The method for managing a sign predicts the future trend of target data changing according to a time sequence. The method for managing a sign includes: a first selection step of selecting a plurality of pieces of first selection data by using a plurality of pieces of economic data and the target data changing according to a time sequence; a second selection step of selecting a plurality of pieces of second selection data by using a plurality of pieces of first selection data and the target data; and a synthesis step of synthesizing a plurality of pieces of second selection data and generating synthesis data. The method for managing a sign calculates the future predicted value of the target data on the basis of the generated synthesis data. The sign management system includes first selection means for realizing the first selection step, second selection means for realizing the second selection step, and synthesis means for realizing the synthesis step.
