To provide a nighttime vehicle detection method based on dynamic light intensity.SOLUTION: A nighttime vehicle detection method based on dynamic light intensity comprises: a highlight detection process of detecting a highlight of an image by instructing an operation unit to drive so as to operate the image; a lamp determination process of determining a vehicle light source based on an area size or size of a highlight pixel by instructing the operation unit to drive so as to execute an algorithm for labeling a connection area to mark connected highlight pixels as a connection area value; an optical flow filtering process of calculating a traveling speed of the vehicle light source and filtering the vehicle light source that has a lower traveling speed than a preset speed by instructing the operation unit to drive so as to execute an optical flow method; and a distance estimation process of calculating a distance between the vehicle light source not filtered and a vehicle by instructing the operation unit to drive so as to execute a coordinate conversion method.
