PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive multiplier capable of accelerating machine learning and deep learning. An adaptive matrix multiplier is provided. In some embodiments, the matrix multiplier comprises a first multiplier unit, a second multiplier unit, a memory load circuit, and an external buffer circuit. The first multiplication unit includes a first internal buffer circuit and a second internal buffer circuit, and the second multiplication unit includes a first internal buffer circuit and a second internal buffer circuit. The memory load circuit is configured to load data from the memory into the first internal buffer of the first multiplication unit and the first internal buffer of the second multiplication unit in a single burst in burst memory access mode.
