Both the housing 14 and the shielding member 20 have a shielding ability from an X-ray of 32 KeV derived fromCs as a specific X-ray. In a second state, the housing 14 is in a closed state, the X-ray unit 10 is disposed such that the X-ray detectors are shielded from the subject, and the shielding member 20 does not surround the subject. A radioactivity concentration derived from the subject is determined based on a difference between a dose of specific X-rays corresponding to output signals from the X-ray detectors 11, 12 in the first state and a dose of specific X-rays corresponding to output signals from the X-ray detectors 11, 12 in the second state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
