The invention relates to a system for detection with high temporal and spatial resolution, comprising an image intensifier (1), at least one high spatial resolution detector (4), at least one high temporal resolution detector (5), and electronics (6) executing an algorithm, connected to these detectors (4, 5) and possibly connected to the image intensifier (1), arranged and setup so that an optical signal amplified on the image intensifier (1) is subsequently recorded on the at least one high spatial resolution detector (4) and on the at least one high temporal resolution detector (5).;The invention also includes a method for detection with high temporal and spatial resolution, according to which the optical signal is amplified on an image intensifier (1), and subsequently is recorded on at least one high spatial resolution detector (4) and on at least one high temporal resolution detector (5).
