The invention relates to a method for establishing a roaming connection via a bootstrap server, comprising the following steps: transmitting a registration request (203) from a communications terminal (202) to a network access entity (251) of a visited communications network (240), wherein the registration request (203) comprises an identification (UE ID) of the communications terminal (202); forwarding the registration request (203) to a bootstrap server (201) of the visited communications network (240) using the network access entity (251); transmitting network access data (205) for the access to the visited communications network (240) to the communications terminal (202) using the bootstrap server (201) based on the UE ID of the communications terminal (202), wherein the network access data (205) displays capabilities of the visited communications network (240); and establishing the roaming connection using the communications terminal (202) via the visited communications network (240) based on the network access data (205).
