The invention relates to a manufacturing method for a generatively constructed component (1) with a threaded insert (3), wherein the following steps are carried out: a) arranging a thread-bearing insert (3) by means of a counter-thread-carrying holding element (5), b) carrying out a generative method, wherein a layer material (7) around the thread-carrying insert (3) is built up in layers by means of the generative method, in particular melted, c) separating the threaded insert (3) arranged in process step a) by the mating thread-carrying holding element (5), in particular by means of a screwing operation, d) obtaining the generatively constructed component (1).
