The present invention relates to a disconnecting arrangement for a surge arrester, comprising a first connection means for connection to an overvoltage conductor, and a second connection means for connection to a ground cable, and a housing which is at least partially disposed between the two connection means and a cavity is formed, on which an arc-triggered explosive device is arranged, characterized in that the housing is adapted to provide the cavity in a transport state, a first pressure resistance and in an installed state, a second pressure resistance, wherein the second pressure resistance is higher than the first pressure resistance is.
