The invention relates to a powder metallurgy molding composition for use in the manufacture of solid sintered cermet decoration articles, comprising an inorganic powder for forming the cermet and an organic binder. Said inorganic powder consists of 35% to 95% by weight of at least one ceramic-based ceramic phase selected from the group consisting of TiC, TiCN, TiN and mixtures thereof, and 5% to 65% of a phase metal, said metal phase being constituted by weight of at least 40% iron, 15% to 45% chromium, 0.1% to 25% molybdenum, 0.1% to 10% silicon, 0 to 10% of boron, and from 0 to 10% of niobium, the respective amounts of the elements of the metal phase being such that their sum is equal to 100% by weight of the metal phase. The present invention also relates to an article of decoration or dressing sintered solid cermet made from such a molding composition and a powder metallurgy manufacturing process of such a decor item or dressing or an element of a sintered massive cermet clock mechanism.
