FIELD: mining.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and is created with reference to conditions of development of deep horizons of diamond-mining open pits used in extreme climatic conditions of cryolithozone of the North. Development of deep horizons is carried out by opening them with inclined shafts, which are passed from the bottom of the pit and connected to the main lifting shafts. Adjustment of abrupt and stable beads in sparing mode is performed by combine with partial use of laser process unit to form stable slopes. At opening of open pit horizons, inclined working passes from shafts to pit horizons. Rock mass taken out by the cutter during transportation of the pit is transported by electric vehicles: ore – to ore, overburden rocks – to rock bore and further to surface. Delivery of people to jobs from surface is carried out along human trunk and through human walker. During the quarry mining along the perimeter of its board a temporary deposit of overburden rocks is created, and ore is removed to the diamond-extracting factory, near to which on its tailings a mini dressing plant is built, which is equipped with a workshop for sorting of valuable minerals. After completion of open development the spent quarry space is filled up with the removed overburden rocks, restoring the initial relief of the ground surface, on which the layer of chernozem is laid for biological reclamation.;EFFECT: as a result of implementation of technical solution, efficiency of development of deep horizons of diamond-mining open pits is achieved due to higher stability of angles of their slopes, reducing harmful emissions of mining production to the environment and obtaining additional profit from the sale of small valuable minerals at the market of precious stones.;1 cl, 1 tbl, 5 dwg
