FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport machine building and can be used for training pilots of rotary-wing aircrafts and initial training of external pilots of unmanned rotary-wing aircrafts. Helicopter simulator comprises a pneumatic system, a platform with self-orienting wheels and a gimbal suspension, which is connected to two rods of pneumatic cylinders, which are attached to the receiver in their lower part. Receiver is connected to the platform by means of an axis fixed in the platform by means of a bearing ensuring rotation of the receiver around the vertical axis. At that, gimbal suspension is made in form of fixed frame rigidly connected with external sides with pneumatic cylinders’ rods, and inner side connected with moving frame by means of axes parallel to longitudinal axis of helicopter, providing possibility of free rotation of movable frame, to the inner surface of which on the axes perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the helicopter brackets for attachment of the device to the helicopter gearbox from sides are fixed with possibility of free rotation.;EFFECT: increases the effectiveness of training.;1 cl, 3 dwg
