FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to the field of experimental surgery, and can be used to assess the activity of regeneration of a full-thickness rat skin wound in an experiment. Rat is given a full-thickness skin wound. Blood flow velocity (ml/s) and the area of the wound (mm²) is measured. All measurements are carried out on the 7^th and 14^th day from the time of causing injury. Average systolic volumetric flow rate is measured as the blood flow velocity. Ratio of the area of the wound to the average systolic volume velocity is calculated. Improvement of the wound regeneration process is evidenced by the value of this ratio less than 9.6 for the 7^th day and less than 4.45 for the 14^th day. Retrogression of the wound regeneration process is indicated by the value of this ratio of more than 10 for 7^th day and more than 4.88 for 14^th day.;EFFECT: method provides a reliable estimate of the regeneration activity by measuring the blood flow velocity.;1 cl, 3 dwg
