The light emitting diode having improved light extraction efficiency according to the present invention includes a semiconductor laminate structure including an N layer, a light emitting layer, and a P layer formed on a substrate, an N-type electrode formed on the N layer, and a P-type formed on the P layer. A light emitting diode having an electrode, wherein the N-type electrode and the P-type electrode include a pad electrode and a dispersion electrode, and at least one of the N-type electrode and the P-type electrode reflects light on the dispersion electrode. It characterized in that it comprises a reflective electrode layer. Accordingly, the light emitting diode has an effect of improving light extraction efficiency by providing a reflective electrode layer on the electrode. Furthermore, the roughness is formed by patterning the reflective layer under the pad part, thereby improving the adhesive force.
