According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for evaluating decommissioning work for a nuclear power plant comprises: a storage unit previously storing decommissioning data including at least one among objects to be decommissioned, radiation doses in working areas, decommissioning methods for decommissioning the objects to be decommissioned, cumulative exposure doses of operators performing decommissioning, and permissible decommissioning costs allowed for decommissioning the objects to be decommissioned; a setting unit setting decommissioning scenarios on the basis of the objects to be decommissioned, the radiation doses in the working areas and the decommissioning methods prestored in the storage unit; a first calculating unit calculating at least one of predicted moving paths of the operators decommissioning the objects to be decommissioned according to the set decommissioning scenarios, predicted exposure doses of the operators and predicted working hours of the operators; a second calculating unit calculating at least one of permissible exposure doses of the operators and permissible working hours of the operators by comparing and analyzing the radiation doses in the working areas and the cumulative exposure doses of the operators prestored in the storage unit; a safety evaluation unit evaluating safety by comparing and analyzing the predicted exposure doses and the predicted working hours calculated by the first calculating unit and the permissible exposure doses and the permissible working hours calculated by the second calculating unit; and an economical efficiency evaluating unit evaluating economical efficiency by calculating predicted decommissioning costs required to decommission the objects to be decommissioned according to the decommissioning scenarios, and comparing and analyzing the calculated predicted decommissioning costs with the decommissioning costs prestored in the storage unit. Thus, both the safety and economical efficiency of the decommissioning work can be ensured.
