The present invention discloses an AP address band setting system and an AP address band setting method for automatically setting an IP address band in which an AP does not collide with a neighboring AP. An AP address band setting system according to the present invention includes: an AP scan unit configured to scan an access point (AP) in a wireless network and collect SSID (Service Set IDentifier) information from the scanned AP; An AP determining unit which analyzes the collected MAC addresses of the SSIDs and determines the number of neighboring APs; An IP address band receiver for requesting and providing an IP address band to each AP determined as a neighboring AP; And an IP address band setting unit for setting a new IP address band in the AP that does not collide with the received IP address band. According to the present invention, a roaming service is provided by automatically setting a unique IP address band without collision for APs of a wireless network.
