The present invention relates to a graphene-based Schottky junction solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the graphene-based Schottky junction solar cell is manufactured by the following steps of: forming graphene on an upper surface of a copper substrate; depositing a high polymer layer on an upper surface of the graphene; removing the copper substrate after the deposition; stacking the graphene on which the high polymer layer is deposited on top of a patterned silicon substrate; removing the high polymer layer deposited on the upper surface of the graphene after the step of stacking the graphene; and forming a front electrode on top of the graphene and a rear electrode under the silicon substrate after the high polymer layer is removed. The graphene-based Schottky junction solar cell has excellent efficiency compared to a conventional solar cell.
