The present invention relates to a method for cultivating a sweet potato at high yield, which comprises the steps of: germinating a sweet potato harvested in the previous year, and cutting a sprout; cutting the cut sprout in water to cultivate sweet potato seeds with roots grown in a reference length; forming a ridge on the ground, and inserting a sweet potato planting frame having a predetermined height into the ridge in a predetermined depth to allow an upper portion thereof to be exposed to the outside; burying the reference number of the sweet potato seeds inside the sweet potato planting frame; vertically erecting a plurality of pipes at both sides of the ridge to attract a stem grown from the sweet potato seeds; horizontally shaking the sweet potato planting frame to separate the same in an upper direction of the ridge when the growth of a sweet potato is completed; and separating the sweet potato remaining in the ridge from which the sweet potato planting frame is separated, to the outside. The sweet potato planting frame is formed by cylindrically winding a rectangular plate-like material.
