More particularly, the present invention relates to an experimental apparatus and an experimental method for measuring indoor and outdoor penetration coefficients of airborne particulates. The apparatus includes a large cabin, a gap, a fuming device, an airflow mixing system, a pressure difference control system, a particulate test device, an on / humidity controller, and a filter. Large cabins are used to simulate indoor and outdoor environments, both connected through a gap mechanism. The fuming device is an aerosol generator and the particulates use ISO standard dust. Since the pressure difference controller is composed of a vacuum pump, control valve, micro-pressure gauge and flow meter, it is possible to precisely control the pressure difference on both sides of the gap. The device allows simulations of particulate indoor and outdoor penetration coefficients under various conditions (temperature / humidity, pressure difference, particle size, gap conditions) in a laboratory environment. In the application process, it is possible to set the various coefficients according to the specific requirements, to obtain the penetration coefficient under the corresponding conditions, to have easy and simple control, to change many coefficients, and to save human and physical assets .
