The invention relates to a method of measuring a floating population by using information on a floating population classified into an each category, and more specifically, to a method of measuring a floating population by using information on a floating population classified into an each category, which is capable of easily and quickly obtaining real-time floating population data through correlation analysis, regression analysis, and connection of the pCELL algorithm. According to the present invention, the method of measuring a floating population by using information on a floating population classified into an each category is capable of information provision which is more precise, five times or more, than an existing cell ID method of providing location information of a cell unit reaching several Km by applying the pCELL algorithm to a real-time floating population measurement, and is capable of easily obtaining floating population data in real time. Also, it is possible to obtain a daily basis active population, a daily basis incoming population for each sex/age, a daily basis incoming population for each time slot, a daily basis unique population for each city, a daily basis unique population for each province, a daily basis foreigner data, and a daily basis origin-destination (OD) matrix for each hour, to synchronize a base unit section, and to construct a region except downtown by a grid of a basic analysis unit. In addition, it is possible not only to construct a spatial unit region corresponding to an advancement business, but also to extract an independent variable which can predict a dependent variable for floating population calculation the best through an analysis radius, correlation analysis, and regression analysis which can explain a position type classification the best.
