The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polyurethane compression sponge, comprising: a preparation step of preparing the polyurethane sponge; a compression step of compressing the polyurethane sponge into a polyurethane compression sponge by a compression processing device; an aging step of discharging gas generated during a thermal compression; and a surface treatment step of providing a functionality on the surface of the polyurethane compression sponge. In the surface treatment step, the polyurethane compression sponge is provided with a nonflammable functionality by coating the surface of the polyurethane compression sponge with a nonflammable coating agent. In addition, the surface treatment step consists of the following steps of: manufacturing a nonflammable coating agent; spraying the nonflammable coating agent onto the surface of the polyurethane compression sponge to be provided; and drying the polyurethane compression sponge.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
