The present invention relates to a block for tree protection, which is installed through the combination of two types of triangular blocks for the protection of trees such as roadside trees, and a mold for forming a block for tree protection, which enables two sets of blocks for tree protection to be manufactured through one single formation process. A block for tree protection includes: an outer block formed into the outline of an isosceles triangle to be arranged on each quadrant of an installation zone one by one, but having a corner with a vertical angle located in an outer corner of each quadrant of the installation zone and both lateral corners with a base angle coming into contact with an axial line dividing the installation zone into quadrants; and an inner block formed into a triangular shape to be arranged on each quadrant of the installation zone two by two, but having a base line coming into contact with the base line of the outer block while having one corner located in one corner of the outer block.
