An AR-based theme travel AI curation providing system through customized learning of a virtual character according to the present invention comprises: a travel information input module including a travel information input unit for receiving travel information including a travel purpose and a travel destination from a user, and a request input unit for receiving a travel plan request written in sentences in relation to the travel information from the user; a travel preference checking module including a travel destination information database where travel destination data is stored, and a travel preference survey unit for determining a travel preference of the user based on the travel plan request and finding a plurality of detailed travel destinations from the travel destination data; a character development module including a character generating unit for generating a virtual character, and a character development unit for modifying and developing the appearance of the character depending on the progress of finding the detailed travel destinations in the travel preference checking module; and a travel information providing module for providing the user with a travel map displaying each of the detailed travel destinations on the map and guide information on the detailed travel destinations based on augmented reality (AR) through the developed character. Therefore, the present invention recommends the user′s preferred travel destinations and detailed travel destinations.
