According to the present invention, a method for evaluating a result of applying a topographic normalization model to a satellite image comprises the steps of: calculating a rate of change before and after applying the topographic normalization model for reflectance data on a first slope against the sun and reflectance data on a second slope facing the sun; calculating a similarity rate between histogram structures of each of first reflectance data on the first slope and second reflectance data on the second slope before applying the topographic normalization model, and third reflectance data on the first slope and fourth reflectance data on the second slope after applying the topographic normalization model; and calculating an index for evaluating a histogram structure similarity before and after applying the topographic normalization model based on the rate of change and the similarity rate.
