Disclosed are a resource allocation method for a multiple device-to-device (D2D) cluster multicast communication, and an apparatus thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the resource allocation method for the multiple D2D cluster multicast communication is to allocate resource to each D2D cluster in a system, which includes: one or more cellular terminals and one or more D2D clusters inside a cell covered by a single base station; and one transmission terminal and a plurality of reception terminals inside each D2D cluster. According to the present invention, the resource allocation method for the multiple D2D cluster multicast communication comprises: a step wherein the base station acquires position information of the cellular terminal and the reception terminals, which are placed inside the cell; a step wherein the base station calculates a transmission power of the transmission terminal by using the position information and a pre-set cellular outage probability; a step wherein the base station calculates an outage probability of the relevant D2D cluster by using the calculated transmission power; and a step wherein the base station allocates a channel, which has the maximum sum of processing volume of all D2D clusters, by using the calculated outage probability. The present invention aims to provide a resource allocation method for multiple device-to-device (D2D) cluster multicast communication and an apparatus thereof, which are able to allocate resources by using positions of the cellular terminal inside a cell covered by a single base station and the transmission terminal placed in the multiple D2D clusters.
