The present invention relates to a user condition monitoring system and, more specifically, to a user condition monitoring system capable of effectively monitoring a living state of a user such as the elderly living alone, the elderly, the infirm, and patients with reduced mobility. According to the present invention, the user condition monitoring system collects an energy usage amount at home through a power line communication, and determines whether there is energy used by a user with reduced mobility, such as the handicapped or the elderly living alone based on a change in the collected energy usage amount, thereby easily confirming how he or she is. Further, according to the present invention, the user condition monitoring system, when it is determined that there is an emergency situation by detecting a user′s big and small movements on a TV which is used most at home, operates a camera and notifies and informs the same to a guardian or the relevant authorities so that the user′s situation can be determined more accurately and a follow-up action can be taken.
