The present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing the disease severity of Alzheimer′s disease comprising tau proteins and a method of diagnosing the disease severity of Alzheimer′s disease using the same. More specifically, p-tau proteins contained in the composition for diagnosing the disease severity of Alzheimer′s disease according to the present invention show a significant increase in severe Alzheimer′s patients compared to an age-matched control group and to mild Alzheimer′s patients; a p-tau content ratio with respect to t-pau content shows a significant increase in mild Alzheimer′s patients as compared to an age-matched control group; a ratio of pSer202 and pThr205 to the t-tau content in severe Alzheimer′s patients shows a substantial increase as compared to mild Alzheimer′s patients; and a ratio of pThr181 to the t-tau content in severe Alzheimer′s patients shows a substantial increase as compared to an age-matched control group. Accordingly, the composition may be beneficially used to efficiently diagnose the disease severity of Alzheimer′s disease.
