According to the present invention, a geographic information systems (GIS) system of a transmission system using real time big data analysis comprises: a database unit providing transmission facilities information, map image information, and weather information in real time; a power load prediction unit performing load prediction for each region using a load prediction algorithm based on power data collected in real time through the database unit; and a GIS engine unit providing GIS data and a load analysis service integration environment for each region based on load prediction information for each region derived through the power load prediction unit. The GIS system may efficiently operate transmission facilities.
