The present invention provides a circular Hough transform based on a symmetric pair vote to robustly detect a circular object in an image in which a noise, a lighting, a modification, a shade, etc. exist. According to an experimental result of the present invention, a performing time is remarkably reduced, and a circular object can be robustly detected even if an effect by an image noise, a lighting, a modification, a shade, etc. exists.
