The present invention relates to a method for modeling an earth atmospheric radio wave channel using a ray tracing technique comprising the steps of: modeling a characteristic of a radio wave of the troposphere and stratosphere; and modeling a characteristic of a radio wave of the ionosphere by using the finite difference time-domain method with input of data from an electric field passing through the troposphere and stratosphere. According to the present invention, a ground signal location can be more precisely derived by considering a radio wave environment by dividing the atmosphere.
