The present invention relates to a method for producing a low temperature type W_xNb_yVO_(2-(x+y))-based phase transition material. More specifically, the present invention relates to a low temperature type W_xNb_yVO_(2-(x+y))-based phase transition material excellent in crystallinity while having outstanding phase transition abilities at a low temperature by reacting a vanadium salt, a tungsten compound and a niobium compound in an aqueous solution in a predetermined amount and ratio.
