A foreign currency remittance method through a relay server comprises the steps of: transmitting a first won-dollar exchange rate information request received from a remitter terminal to a domestic financial server; setting exchange rate information based on the first won-dollar exchange rate information received from the domestic financial server; transmitting the set exchange rate information to the remitter terminal; transmitting a second won-dollar exchange rate information request to the domestic financial server after receiving a remittance request from the remitter terminal; transmitting the remittance request to the domestic financial server when the second won-dollar exchange rate information received from the domestic financial server matches the first won-dollar exchange rate information; transmitting a virtual account number received from the domestic financial server to the remitter terminal; transmitting an authentication processing request for the remitter and a remittee to a foreign financial server after receiving a deposit confirmation signal from the domestic financial server; receiving an authentication completion signal from the foreign financial server, and then transmitting a settlement processing request to the domestic financial server; and transmitting a receipt password to the remitter terminal. The domestic financial server transmits the virtual account number to the relay server when the remittance request is received from the relay server. When the deposit from the remitter terminal corresponding to the virtual account number is confirmed, the domestic financial server transmits a deposit confirmation signal to the relay server, and performs settlement processing in association with the foreign financial server at a predetermined settlement processing time. The present invention is able to prevent unexpected expenses from being incurred.
