The present invention relates to a device and method for reducing TCA in all forms of natural cork-type cork products such as technical stoppers, discs for stoppers, boiled and raw cork plank, which are treated by means of a device comprising at least one hot air generator, a supersaturated dry steam boiler, and an electric extractor, all of which are joined by means of tubes or the like to a chamber having at least one natural ventilation outlet and a temperature sensor, such that the cork products introduced into the chamber of the device of the invention are treated by means of the application of a method which subjects the products to several steps that significantly reduce TCA levels, without leading to the deterioration or deformation of the cork products although they are subjected to high air and supersaturated dry steam temperatures during said process.
