This rewriting device is provided with: an apparatus information acquisition unit which acquires connected air conditioning apparatus information indicating conditions of all air conditioning apparatuses connected to a communication network; an apparatus selection unit which selects, on the basis of the connected air conditioning apparatus information, an air conditioning apparatus in which a program is to be updated; and an update unit which updates the program of the air conditioning apparatus selected by the apparatus selection unit.
