A jump rope handle, comprising a fixing part (2) and a rotating part (1). A first end of the rotating part (1) is used for fixedly connecting to a rope body (3), and a second end, away from the first end, of the rotating part (1) is rotatably connected to the fixing part (2). At least three Hall sensors (4) are fixedly disposed on the fixing part (2). A magnetic source (5) is fixedly disposed on the peripheral side of the second end of the rotating part (1). The at least three Hall sensors (4) are on a same plane. When the rotating part (1) rotates on the fixing part (2), the magnetic source (5) sequentially passes through the at least three Hall sensors (4). Data acquired by the at least three Hall sensors (4) and times when the values of the data are acquired are sent to an external terminal device by means of a communication module (6) disposed on the fixing part (2). The jump rope handle can record the jumping type and the number of jumps of a user. Also provided are a jump rope having the handle and a counting method for a jump rope.
