The invention is related to synthesis of substituted 1,4-dioxane-2,5-dione monomers and their boron-containing polymers that enable loading of anticancer and other drugs such as paclitaxel for the treatment in field of drug-delivery systems and for early diagnosis by the effect of boron (theranostics) and also related to investigation of their optical properties and fabrication of nanospheres to use in vitro/in vivo applications.
