Disclosed is a grading model for detecting the degree of malignancy of esophageal neoplasm and/or gastric neoplasm and the use thereof. The model grades the changes in imprinted genes in tumors by calculating the deletion expression amount of the imprinted genes, the abnormal expression amount of imprinted gene copies, and the total expression amount of the imprinted genes. The model displays, in a visual way, the performance of loss of imprints in tissue and cell samples from patients with esophageal neoplasm and gastric neoplasm, and the detection of the changes in imprinted genes by means of a method for in situ labeling of imprinted genes is objective, visual, early and accurate, and can provide a quantitative model and can contribute to the diagnosis of esophageal neoplasm and gastric neoplasm.
