A method for constructing large polygonal containers involves providing a first polygonal tubular body (1), providing a second polygonal tubular body (2) capable of fitting snugly inside the first polygonal tubular body, aligning the first polygonal tubular body with the second polygonal tubular body (2), applying glue lines (G2) to the outside of the second polygonal tubular body and/or to the inside (6b) of the first polygonal tubular body, moving the first polygonal tubular body and the second polygonal tubular body (2) in relation to each other until a snug fitting is obtained, providing a base (3) and finally joining a lower end portion of the outside (6a) of the first polygonal tubular body to the inside of the base (5b) of the polygonal bottom wall (5) of the base by glue lines (C1), forming a large polygonal container.
