Provided is a conveyance vehicle system comprising a plurality of conveyance vehicles and a control part. Each of the plurality of control vehicles comprises a sensor for sensing an object. The control part: retains conveyance vehicle information indicating the position of a first conveyance vehicle from among the plurality of conveyance vehicles; and when identification information and the position of a second conveyance vehicle from among the plurality of conveyance vehicles are received as an input, transmits a command to verify the presence of the second conveyance vehicle to the first conveyance vehicle. Upon receiving the presence verification command, the first conveyance vehicle carries out a measurement with the sensor, and transmits the result of this measurement to the control part. On the basis of the result of the sensor measurement received from the first conveyance vehicle, the control part assesses whether the position of the second conveyance vehicle having been received as the input is correct.
