Provided in the present invention are an alarm clock reminding method and an alarm clock reminding system for an intelligent terminal, the reminding method comprising the following steps: creating a new reminder event; setting the reminder time, reminder date and reminder ringtone for the reminder event as well as a correspondence relationship between the reminder date and the reminder ringtone; monitoring the clock time of an intelligent terminal; calling an calendar application to obtain the current date when the clock time reaches the reminder time; and the alarm clock playing back a reminder ringtone corresponding to the reminder date according to the reminder date when the current date is within the reminder date. With the technical solution according to the present invention, the reminder ringtone, the reminder volume, the reminding time and the like of the alarm clock may be flexibly adjusted according to a change in a calendar, a change in week or other actual conditions without requiring a user to repeatedly set and modify the alarm manually, thereby providing a convenient, fast and flexible alarm clock for the user, and providing a more user-friendly reminder according to the actual needs of the user.
