A communication system according to the present specification can simultaneously calculate three-dimensional coordinates of anchors and tags by measuring the line-of-sight distance between the anchors and the anchors, and between the anchors and the tags by using positioning techniques. More specifically, master anchors MA0, MA1, and MA2, which are references when a user calculates the positions of anchors, are firstly defined, coordinates of the master anchor 0 (MA0) are arbitrarily set to (x1, y1, z1), positions of other master anchors are calculated by measuring the distance between the master anchors in a two way ranging (TWR) scheme on the basis of the coordinates, and relative coordinates of slave anchors are calculated by measuring the distance between the master anchor and other anchors in a TWR scheme. Simultaneously, the tags receive signals in a one way ranging (OWR) scheme, the signals being transmitted by the anchors during the execution of TWR between the anchors, and calculates the relative coordinates of tags on the basis of the coordinates of the anchors by calculating the time difference of arrival (TDoA) of the received signals.
