The invention relates to a testing system for carrying out a high-voltage test on a test object (PR), comprising a test throttle (PD) with an electromagnetically adjustable inductance in order to form a resonant circuit together with the test object (PR). The test throttle (PD) comprises a core with a limb (S1) and a main winding (HW) which surrounds the limb (S1). The test throttle (PD) additionally has at least one control winding (W1, W2,..., W6). The control winding (W1, W2,..., W6) is used to pre-magnetize at least one part of the limb (S1) in order to electromagnetically set the inductance of the test throttle (PD), wherein each of the at least one control windings (W1, W2,..., W6) surrounds at least one corresponding part of the limb (S1).
