#$%^&*AU2018102049A420190117.pdf#####Abstract for Nu-English Innovation Patent - May 2018 Using a revised alphabet and new spelling and grammar rules with no exceptions to fix the numerous imperfections in current English will enable anyone to learn English easily and quickly, reducing school time and second language learning time, thus enhancing English's position as the current key world language of choice. The new alphabet is practical and uses no new symbols, yet, coupled with revised spelling rules, it makes English truly phonetic which currently it is not, so spoken and written English will always agree accurately and unambiguously, covering all 44 sounds in English by using single and paired letters from the current alphabet without diacritical marks or non-English letters and symbols. Currently, English is nowhere near perfect and requires quite some time to learn all its rules and then to learn all the exceptions to the rules. After revision, all irregular verbs will become regular and the special 3rd person singular present tense verb rule will be removed. All silent letters will be removed including removal of one consonant from a double consonant, letters with current choices for pronunciation will be assigned only one unique sound and accents on stressed syllables will be consistent among related words. Simpler consistent new rules for plural nouns, animal groups, object and possessive pronouns and comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs will fix other current problems. Construction of a translation dictionary will assist transition from the old to the new language over several years, during which both the old and the new languages would be official and legal, and after which the old language would be discontinued.
