The invention relates to a process for preparing an adsorbent used in bioremediation of oil-contaminated soils. According to the invention, the process comprises the immobilization of cells of the Candida parapsilosis strain YCP 124, selected from petroleum hydrocarbon-contaminated soils and developed in a growth and stimulation medium, on a natural inorganic porous support, such as expanded pearlite with a grain size of 4 mm, to result in an immobilized cell support assembly with high biodegradation activity and high biosurfactant synthesis activity.
