PROCESS FOR PREPARING A COMPOSITE MATERIAL IRON- AND NITROGEN-DOPED TITANIUM DIOXIDE/REDUCED GRAPHENE OXIDE WITH EXTENDED PHOTOCATALYTICAL ACTIVITY IN THE VISIBLE RANGE
The invention relates to a process for preparing a composite material iron- and nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide, meant to be used in photocatalytical degradation of chemical pollutants in the environment, active in ultra-violet and visible range. According to the invention, the process consists in preparing anatase TiOdoped with 1% Feand nitrogen starting from titanium (III) chloride, iron chloride and ammonium hydroxide solution 25%, by hydrothermal treatment, then preparing the composite 98% (titanium dioxide doped with 1% Feand nitrogen)/2% graphene oxide reduced by hydrothermal treatment using poly(diallyldimethylammonium) chloride as a reducing agent, at the temperature of 150°C for 2 h, to result in a composite precipitate which is dried in an oven, at a temperature of 80°C, for 12 h.
