This invention concerns a transdermal treatment system for the administration of an active substance through the skin,(b) a tank situated on top of the tank cover;which includes a polymer matrix containing the active substance,(c) one situated above the welding stack tank;which includes a contact adhesive and (d) a layer removed from the adhesive stack,where the active substance is rivastigmine,the normally acceptable salt,the aqueous form,the reconstituted form or derivative thereof,characterized by the fact that the polymer matrix of the tank has neither hydroxides nor carboxylates.
