a downhole sensor system distributed to a well includes an array of sensors comprising. The sensor array includes a plurality of sensors and cable segments. each sensor is associated with a unique, searchable digital address below to capture sensor data simultaneously and send sensor data captured simultaneously under a first control condition, and a single sensor from the plurality of sensors is configured to capture sensor data independently and send independently captured sensor data under a second control condition. Cable segments couple the sensors in a row or matrix to distribute power to the sensors and provide a communication channel to and from the sensors.
