摘要

fluorescent atom transfer radical polymerization (atrp) primers via excited state intramolecular proton transfer (esipt) and fluorescent polymers obtained by this method. The innovation concerns a new class of atrp polymerization initiators with intrinsic fluorescence emission properties with large separation between absorption and emission maximums and high photostability against uv radiation. These new compounds have the ability to insert into the polymeric matrix all these properties still in the polymerization step, without further processing or structural modifications. The compounds consist of organic compounds containing the 2- (2'-hydroxyphenyl) benzazolic moiety. The present innovation also aims at the process of obtaining luminescent polymers comprising such initiators and luminescent polymers obtained by this method.
