PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a permanent magnet synchronous motor including a function equal to the case where a cooling fan is provided, even without providing any special device such as the cooling fan, the permanent magnet synchronous motor and a permanent magnet synchronous motor system.SOLUTION: A rotor 12 for a permanent magnet synchronous motor 10 includes: a cylindrical rotor core 18 fixed to a rotary shaft 13; a plurality of rotor slots 19a and 19b which are formed while penetrating in an axial direction of the rotor core 18 and disposed in a circumferential direction of the rotor core 18; and a plurality of permanent magnets 21a and 21b which are inserted into the plurality of rotor slots 19a and 19b and configure a plurality of magnetic poles 20 formed in the circumferential direction. In a pair of permanent magnets 21a and 21b forming each magnetic pole 20, at least one permanent magnet 21a has an axial length that is longer than an axial length of the rotor core 18, and the permanent magnet 21a is disposed in such a manner that an axial end 21c protrudes from an axial end face 18a of the rotor core 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
