PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separate visualization of a ferrite phase, a martensite phase, and an austenite phase in a multiple-phase steel by observation with an electron scanning microscope, the method allowing separation and clear identification of a ferrite phase, a martensite phase, and an austenite phase in a nano-scale.SOLUTION: The method according to the present application includes: a first step of performing a chemical etching on the surface of a multiple-phase steel piece with a picral etching solution; and a second step of subjecting the surface of the multiple-phase steel piece to an SEM observation under the condition that the acceleration energy of primary electrons is 1.75keV or smaller and a back scattering electron detector is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
