PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain gauge that facilitates desired resistance value adjustment by processing a resistance adjustment pattern through laser trimming even when stuck on an elastic body in a curved surface shape, and a force transducer using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a strain gauge comprising a folded pattern part for strain detection formed of a resistance body and a resistance adjustment pattern part for resistance adjustment employing laser trimming, and stuck on a curved-surface elastic body. The resistance adjustment pattern part has a continuous adjustment pattern part for adjusting a resistance value with a trimming length, and a short-circuiting adjustment pattern part composed of resistance wiring to be selectively cut, and the continuous adjustment pattern part and short-circuiting adjustment pattern part are so arranged that a predetermined line of the laser trimming is a straight line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
